Having dropped out of the running due to injury in 2002, Claire Penn, Office Manager at 4T2 finally tested her mental and physical strengths on the 26.2-mile stretch of the 2003 London Marathon. Claire also put her networking capabilities to the test in her attempts to raise sponsorship funds in support of both the Macmillan Cancer Trust (based locally at Christchurch hospital) and the PDSA (Peoples Dispensary for Sick Animals). In total she managed to raise approximately £1000 for Macmillan and £500 for the PDSA. Many thanks to all who supported her so generously making it all the more worthwhile. She will be sending round the heavies in due course.
