Simple enough for six year olds, with hidden functionality for the older player to discover.
Our second game for LEGO System A/S promotes one of their most established brands. LEGO City is a classic play theme, using European iconic models such as transportation, construction and emergency services. The game was been specifically designed for a broad range of developmental age groups. Its simplicity enables six year-old boys to play, while giving older boys the chance of exploring and discovering hidden functionality. The buildings in 'Time to Build' break down into the bags the models are actually built from. LEGO are always keen to highlight the build and brick factor of their products. Adding to the immersion, if you look carefully you will see the minifigs turning to watch vehicles as they pass by. 4T2 recommended to the LEGO Company that they allowed people to embed the game free of charge in their websites and personal online spaces. This activity was previously actively discouraged. This new approach led to the game being played by people who had previously never visited www.LEGO.com and helped to ensure the popularity of the games. It featured on websites such as Nick, Cartoon Network, Toxic Magazine and Jetix.
Children love our new LEGO City game. 4T2 demonstrated a burning desire to build a truly great game featuring all the LEGO City details required and more. The result was beyond my wildest expectations.
