
This campaign allows children to create their own adventures and share them with their friends.
In 2007, 4T2 ran a campaign with LEGO Club Magazine to design a new level for our award winning LEGO Mars Mission - CrystAlien Conflict game. The popularity of this competition resulted in the LEGO Club post bag being deluged with creative concepts. The children's desire to be more involved with game creation was immediately apparent. 4T2 therefore designed the BIONICLE Mistika game to include an online level editing system. This allows children to produce, personalise and share their own adventures. As well as making the campaign more interactive and educational, this also lengthens its lifespan. Children themselves create new challenges for their peers to overcome. The level design system was utilised by LEGO UK to run a separate competition: a great example of a local market utilising a global campaign to meet their own specific requirements. Cartoon Network also had a special version of the game with an additional playable character.
The game is so AWESOME!!!!!!!! I looove how you can create your own levels (that's my favourite part about the game)!
