4T2 was not going to miss out on making a football game! Or two.

In the early years of the third millennium online football related promotions seemed to evolve in the following manner: 2002 - Penalty kick games 2004 - Free kick games 2006 - Corner kick games 4T2, not known for following the crowd, did our own thing. In 2004 we helped Betfair promote their coverage of the European Football Championships by releasing... wait for it... an online game of football. SHOCK! The game bears a striking resemblance to the indoor version of Microprose Soccer, even down to the goals replays. By beating the first team you competed against (which is very easy) players won a £20 free bet. In 2006, with a limited budget, 4T2 created a paper, scissors and stone style game for William Hill to promote their World Cup sporting book. Humour was used to differentiate this campaign, with cheese eating surrender monkeys, Knight Rider and aliens sneaking in there. Most of the images above are of this second campaign as three more striped green pictures would have been a little dull. We dream of being asked to make an online game of football now. Imagine how good it would be... If there is a God, you'll be reading this article because that is exactly what you are looking for.
